As a traveling parent, I am absolutely thrilled at the release of GB's Pockit stroller.
This model holds the Guinness World Record for the world's smallest folding stroller, but it is still able to accommodate children ages 6 months to 4 years. This stroller can hold up 55 pounds, but only weighs 9 pounds.
You never want to be caught lugging around a heavy stroller, so this was a definite plus for me.
The GB Pockit folds up to a measured size of 14x12x7 in, which means this stroller is easily stored and can fit in even the smallest of vehicle trunks.
Despite folding up into such a small size, the stroller still has a large storage basket and a comfortable seat.
This video shows just how easy the GB Pockit is to maneuver, use and store:

2. Austlen Entourage

The Austlen Entourage is going to be the king of the strollers this year. It is able to hold up to 150 pounds.
This model can be used in a variety of ways: as a single, double stroller or even be converted into a sit and stand style.
What I think is very interesting is the way adapts to a growing family — it can be configured more than 30 ways!
But the main point for this stroller is probably the large storage space. It can even hold an ice chest, which comes in handy if you do a lot of outdoors family excursions during the summer.

3. Peg Perego Book Cross

The Book Cross is a 3-wheel all-terrain stroller made in Italy.
The frame can be folded like a “book” and seems that the name “cross” comes from the stroller’s ability to traverse through all types of terrains — thanks to its suspension system and tear-resistant tires — ranging from urban streets to unpaved paths in the park.
It also appears that this stroller was designed with multitasking parents in mind because it can be opened, closed, lock and unlock the front wheel and pushed, all with one hand.
And because the seat can be reclined fully flat, the Book Cross can be used straight from birth.

4. GB Lyfe

The Lyfe is a practical, compact and stylish travel system.
A nice thing about the Lyfe is that the seat can be positioned rear- or front-facing and also be transformed into a pram without extra attachments.
The other features are just like many of the popular strollers, such as removable bumper bar, tear-resistant foam tires, a large canopy, and a one-hand folding mechanism.
It is reasonably priced and includes the GB Asana 35 infant seat.
There is a lot of reasons to look into it.

This is the first double umbrella stroller by one of our beloved brands.
The seats will recline fully flat allowing you to use it straight from birth and it also boasts the unique feature of individual seats settings — one child can be asleep with the seat reclined while the other remains sitting up.
The UPPABaby G-Link is not only lightweight but also easy to fold thanks to its hand-level folding triggers.
Here is the official UPPABaby's video that shows you how much this double stroller can do:

6. Babyhome® Vida

BabyHome is a Spanish company based in Barcelona. And the Vida is yet another innovative take on a stylishly designed urban stroller.
The Vida can be considered as an upgraded version of, the previously introduced, Emotion model.
Its seat can be fully reclined and is compatible with car seats from the makers of Maxi Cosi, Bebé Confort, Cybex, Nuna, and BeSafe.
Weighing a mere 15 pounds, or 6.8 kg makes this full-size stroller really light. Indeed, it is as light as some umbrella strollers!
7. Nuna Tavo

The Nuna Tavo stroller is being marketed as a spacious one click wonder.
Besides being easy to fold up and transport, what makes this model so special?
The unique oversized cocoon-like canopy that will completely block baby from the elements. Fortunately, you can always sneak a peek from its large see-through peekaboo window.
Parents have raved about the strollers deep reclining option, which would allow a newborn baby to lay almost completely flat.
The Nuna can hold up to 50 pounds and will well last you through the toddler years.

8. iCoo Acrobat

The Acrobat is a really trendy and luxurious travel system that comes with brown tanned leather and copper painted frame.
But the Acrobat is more than just a pretty face.
It has many refined technical features like a German-engineered suspension system, reflectors — to keep you safe in the dark, a substantial canopy, large front wheels, and a one-handed swift folding mechanism.
The stroller is super light; weighing under 20 pounds.
It also includes the rear-facing Hauck ProSafe 35 infant car seat.

9. Britax B-Agile 3

The B-Agile 3 is a highly maneuverable 3-wheel stroller that is also available as a travel system.
To be honest, this is not a totally new model. Instead, it is an improvement on the looks and better storage accessibility, over an already top-selling model.
It offers a one-hand folding mechanism and the front wheel swivels to help you turn in those tight places.
Not only is extremely lightweight, with a mere weight of 16.5 lbs, but it is also one of the most reasonably priced full-size strollers.
If you want a travel system, this stroller will pair perfectly with the company’s top-selling B-Safe 35 infant car seat.
10. Phil & Teds Smart

Like the B-Agile 3, the Smart is not an entirely new model but it is being updated with a bigger seat in 2016.
The great thing about the Phil&Teds Smart model is the fully flat position of the seat — special for newborns as experts recommend. And by adding the peanut carrycot it will allow you to convert the stroller into a bassinet pram.
The Smart seat is made of a unique “spongy” material that makes it easy to clean, hypoallergenic and waterproof.
Car seat compatibility is also a huge hit — you can attach your Graco, Maxi Cosi, Peg Perego, Cybex, or Chicco car seat.

11. Quinny® Moodd

Again, the Moodd is not a new model addition either.
Rather, is a collaboration between Quinny and the fashion designer Rachel Zoe to produce a new and extravagant design — with details made of authentic leather and gold.
However, the Moodd is more than just a decorated stroller.
It also has some smart features like an automatic unfolding mechanism that with a simple click opens up and is ready to load and go.

As overwhelming as choosing the perfect stroller might be, I hope our new strollers 2016 list will help you find the perfect fit for you.
Personally, I think it important to take a moment and think about what you will need from your stroller. Are you a runner? Will you be using it on various kinds of terrain? Do you need storage or something more compact?
